Again what is it about gays and Christians? I mean what is this fuckin Battling Bickersons!!

The Christians can't allow people to be gay. If they did then they'd have to admit that many of them have been putting their children in the hands of men who enjoyed buggering them. (That's how they equate it, not me.)

This is kind of an old video. It really shows what harm religion can do, when a parent will abandon their child, or worse, because of what some book says.

Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Yeah, it's kind of strange when she admits he's been this way for his whole life, but still insists it's a choice. Like she expects him to choose to be something he isn't, just to be more accepted among his family.

Haven't seen or heard from my parents since 1988 for this reason. My Father was dead and buried for four months before an Aunt (who I've never met) took pity on me, disobeyed my Mother, and called to give me the news.

Nope. I have a cousin who lives near to her - she loves him, he's a preacher - who has promised to let me know when she kicks the bucket. The only bad thing about the afterlife not existing is that she'll never know that she threw away most of her family and most of her life for a stupid fantasy.

Yeah, kind of annoying when my grandmother says you lose nothing if you choose christianity. Except all the time, money, and relationships you threw away because of a book.
