Like that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode - the face covering was def required.

In this case though...something quite hot about a sexy chick leading around Mohamed(?) on a leash. Woof!

I'm sure Mohamed was a very very naughty boy.

You made a point that the Qu'ran instructs Muslims to fight in defense, and leave off when their attackers have subsided. It wasn't that long ago that you said this.

You misunderstand. There have been plenty of wars (a surplus, I'd say), many very secular (I've got an army that I think can beat their army, and I want their land and stuff), some very religious, and many where religion is used as a tool to recruit soldiers and justify war. Muslims aren't unique, but the Christians have mostly agreed to leave off killing each other over religion and let their government be (mostly) secular. Islam is still being used in this way, which makes it stand out in the modern world as a tool to promote war. I'm not under the impression that we wouldn't be having a lot of trouble in the Middle East today if Mohammed had never been born and the Middle East was dominated by Orthodox Christianity. Or that it wouldn't be Orthodox Christianity being used to justify violence if that were the case. The Middle East is chock full of problems with a tendency to lead to violence.

We just go about it in a funny way these days, by not conquering new territory.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

If he wasn't down for that I would be. Pretty sure that little girls were his kink though.....she looks a bit dated. Not by much, but enough.

I have not been disappointed.

Now, all that is left is for the OP to confess to being a Muslim apologist and I'll shall be at peace before my gym time.

Confess! CONFESS!! It really is rather obvious.

Just because he's sympathetic to Muslims doesn't make him a Muslim. I'm sympathetic to Muslims. I just can't stand Islamists.

Outstandingly good point. I've known quite a few Muslims over the years, and they seem no more likely to be pricks than anyone else. In this, they're a lot like Christians, Buddhists, Jews, atheists, etc.

Exactly. Our impression is colored by images of Kalashnikov-waving extremists in the media - but let's not forget that the Muslims we *don't* see on the 6 o'clock news.

@OP,
Fuck religion. Fuck in the ass those that claim people who commit undesirable acts in the name of their religion aren't really representatives of their religion. Fuck in the ear those that ask me to consider any religion's sense of morality while ignoring the broader ethical conversation that's been going on longer than your religion has existed. Fuck in the nostril those that don't get the fact that their religion is impractical; meaning it is impotent at preventing what all of us would consider unethical.

There is no religion of peace. None. Religion by its very nature is exclusionary and combative.
