I think I left Hoonville as a teenager, but for sure, after my early 20s when my buddy and I used to play racer with motorcycles on the way home from work late at night.
The VW was purposely made to be nearly police invisible and quiet .
Besides, nobody races against what looks like a stock bug, and this one would tend to go sideways up to about 60 and second gear. Kind of unsafe and scary.

One wonders why God has to set a date, being outside of time and space and all. Why would an omnipotent and omniscient being possibly ever need to wait to do anything?
