A small Swiss village of 1,000 residents have been forced to raise their taxes after a single African mother of seven moved in.

The family cost the village around 40,000 a month and eat up around a third of their public spending.

The mayor of the place spoke out and has said they need to raise taxes to meet the cost.

A nurse in switzerland nets about 8.000 euros a month if I remember correctly.

So: lets say 40% of the people in that village got a middle of the road job. Thats 400 times 8.000 = over 2 million euros. Apparently they pay only 120000 euros in taxes to cover local costs. Thats extremely low. Any change would have raised the taxes.
