Need to rant: stupid Christians

Hello fellow atheists. I just wanted to come here for some love. I'm fighting the good fight on the atheist wing of a Christian forum and I'm struggling to keep my cool while delivering our messages. You know the ones...um...facts. I am just floored by how stupid these people are. Just the worst kind of stupid that I have ever seen. Frighteningly stupid.
One of my interlocutors, for instance, told me that Darwin didn't understand psychology. Which is ironic since psychology wasn't a discipline in Darwin's time (actually that's not ironic, just dumb). Another insists that you can't think of anything that doesn't exist, even pink elephants.
I try to keep my cool but it is tough. I want to just break out in all caps and tell these STUPID DEGENERATES TO GO *&(&(& WALK THEMSELVES INTO TRAFFIC AND SAVE THE REST OF US FROM THEIR STUPIDITY! JUST DO IT ALREADY!!! DIE, DIE, DIE!!!!
Phew, but that would be off message. Does anyone else here know how I feel?

i know how you feel i just tend to ask their questions but when they come back with god did it i take issue
with that its denying hours and hours of research and scientific evidence and its truly maddening.

Debating any religious person can be quite frustrating and pointless. That's why I don't go out of my way to argue with them unless they try to sell their shit to me first (or don't let me sleep-in on weekends). While debating them, you must be extremely patient, and don't directly claim their religion is wrong. The best way is to ask them questions, and get them to do some research instead.

It is the stupid Christians, the most vulnerable, who need religion the most. It bonds them into a mutually protective, socially cohesive whole. You are confronting them with facts contrary to their revealed (made up) truths. This only forces them together more strongly. The weirder and more contrary to observable reality the belief, the better. Stubborn adherence to contra-factual dogma is the secret handshake, the membership card to the group think of their particular tribe.
Frustration is to be expected in facing this.
The more you confront it, the firmer it holds. It's the velcro of epistemology.
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat?

I'd rather hang out in a place with religious sub-forums, than the other way around.
There are some tired lines out there. One of the most useless is probably insisting the universe needed a creator. Ok sure, but even if we agree on that it's still a long way from getting to the christian god or whatever.

I dont think arguing with them will accomplish much. Facts just get in the way of their good stories.
