Indeed, purple is fine. The colour that David Icke actually used to wear was turquoise: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Icke#...ise_period

Quote:He also began wearing all purple all the time which furthered claims he was either disturbed or perhaps a reptilian himself. He was even passed over for Celebrity Big Brother in 2006 for being "too weird"!

Quote:The seismic shift in Icke’s career occurred, bizarrely enough, on the Wogan Show in 1991. Wearing a turquoise tracksuit and appearing distracted, Icke announced to Terry Wogan and the viewing population that he believed he was the Son of God.

Darwinian, I linked to the Wikipedia article mentioning his choice of clothing as turquoise, and showing a photo of him in said clothing. I hardly think RationalWiki can make claim to be more accurate, especially since it is written from a biased perspective, and not subject to the rigorous editing that Wikipedia has.

RE: David Icke
You're too young to remember when David Icke and his family all dressed up in purple tracksuits and proclaimed that he was the son of God then?

I remember very well though.

I wasn't there at the time, but I have done a load of reading on David Icke when I first heard about him years ago. Like I said, the Wikipedia article states (correctly) that he wore turquoise; it even has a picture of him *at the interview where he proclaimed himself the son of God*, wearing the turquoise tracksuit.

There are no mentions of the word "purple" in the article.

Yeah and the rigorous mucking about. I wouldn't use either as a reliable source. Let's just say he started wearing a color that a grown sports announcer typically wouldn't wear. Of course, I don't doubt your personal knowledge of said color-wearing.Wink
