As a gay man, I thoroughly enjoy engaging in sodomy with other consenting males, but I leave out the nonsensical guilt whereby I feel I must pray for absurd forgiveness.

If you don't like you and/or your brethren getting called out on cherry picking scriptures your recourse is to stop fucking cherry picking scriptures. You gay people always act as if you have the monopoly on sodomy. I find that offensive!

It's asinine, this ass of mine.

It's chilling to think how little time ago such things were happening. I didn't know that until I read Alan Turings biography. So sad.

Maybe we True Christians are getting all worked up about something that has a very simple solution. There is one slight problem with your prescription. Paul in romans 5, 6, 7 kinda answers your prescription directly, and even boils your senerio down to a pretty neat block of text in chapter 6: So do you think we should continue sinning so that God will give us more and more grace? 2 Of course not! Our old sinful life ended. It’s dead. So how can we continue living in sin? 3 Did you forget that all of us became part of Christ Jesus when we were baptized? In our baptism we shared in his death. 4 So when we were baptized, we were buried with Christ and took part in his death. And just as Christ was raised from death by the wonderful power of the Father, so we can now live a new life. No one wants to lead a sinful life and, say, become an investment banker or similar horrors, we're merely talking about a bit of harmless sodomy, and if we're feeling courageous, maybe mixing two kinds of thread every once in a while and eat shellfish (though I'll rather skip that)...

What about gay sex with shellfish? Or intertwining fabric and dead gay guy to make a sweater? Argh too many rules! I'll just ignore them all I think.
