If there was a god.... then..

RE: If there was a god.... then..
If there was a God, I'd expect things to be better designed than this.

But the question is pretty much, "If life was a fairy tail..." And it depends on whether it's a good or bad fairy tail.

Well things aren't designed very well are they? Believer's often have it no better then unbeliever's. Preacher's like Kenneth Copeland preach pie in the sky and the only person getting rich is them.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

Well, he/she/it wouldn't care much to acknowledge the likes of a bunch of selfish heathens that beg him for everything. Some of the other animals might be safe but humans would get the middle finger.

Indeed, they are not! Our own bodies for example contain ridiculous accumulated biological errors such as tubes going all over the place instead of the safest and quickest route. Our eyes being rigged upside down and with massive blind spots. Our throat designed so we can choke. Useless organs such as the appendix that can only harm us. Massive portions of redundant DNA which are clearly the result of evolution and not coherent design. I could go on all day... and this universe couldn't really be more badly designed for us.

And like you say, the world is blatantly unfair and sick con men get away with anything while under the shield of piety. Many have already been debunked as knowing frauds.

Thanks for your kind words in the other thread Smile

Modern preaching has destroyed Gospel. They preach a get rich quick Gospel, Jesus never preached anything close to that. But to those doing the preaching it's like money in the bank.

You're questioning GOD ffs ! I don't know, I'm only human !

I guess that's the point. What way the world would be different would depend on the god.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

I could do a better job than God if you give me the resources and a mine craft universe builder. In fact, anyone could. He set the initial dimension parameters way too high and ran out of time to try and fill it all. Then he designed us at the last minute and cocked our planet up too.

For starters, since I'm making the rules, number one rule is no suffering. Ever. And rule number two, everyone and everything can be perfectly happy without having to first experience any suffering. Rule three, everyone has free will, but restricted to good things only. No one can harm each other, and they would never even think of doing so. They have a free choice between lots of wonderful, happy, enjoyable options. They need no resources and need do no work, unless they want to. They can go anywhere safely in the universe, using instant travel if they want it. There is as much space as is needed, and they can build their own worlds to meet their desires. They can have whatever they want, as much as they want. They never get ill or unhappy, and never get bored. However, if anyone does decide they want to leave, they are allowed to do so and I will remove them painlessly from existence, after taking care to check whether they have given it the proper thought.

Last rule: I neither expect nor require anything in return.

I came up with all that before even waking up properly. Now, who would prefer to live in my universe than this one?

You did not do your job well then. That was the first issue babble-god had with the fall of the angels.

Tough being a god. I guess if it was easy, we would all be gods.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

I didn't do my job well, how to do you mean?

I'm not claiming I actually am God (this time) but saying how I would do things. No one is going to rebel, because that's part of the negativity that wouldn't be present in my universe.

Unlike present God, I make all the rules, I don't moan about obstacles that are somehow in my way even though I'm meant to be all powerful Smile

Only you could come out with that... pray tell where I've gone wrong !
PS if you're about to post a reply and your response is going to be negative, improper, average, odd, obtuse, irrational, an argument, might change the focus, going off at a tangent or just mean ... go and find a maths forum to post on instead, they'll love you !!
