I'm a reasonable God. That seems fine. Gives you a bit of time to get the story worked out. So remember I want to seem vengeful, jealous, scary and just but also loving, forgiving merciful and relatable.
I prophecy that I will defeat Godschild on a technicality after being badly beaten. I'll do this after 3 days, weilding a turbot or similar large fish, and I'll then disappear for a bit.
Are you sure people won't call bullshit if your account of my victory fits the prophecies you've already read ahead of time? I mean it's hardly remarkable, writing a story which fits a prophecy you've got access to is it!

It's all in the marketing, Lord. Shoot for the lowest common denominator for your target audience and stick to the script no matter what. I think it will be OK.
