One of my favorites is 1Timothy 2:11-12 Let the woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
But my all-time favorite Bible verse is this: Deuteronomy 25:11-12 If two men fight together, and the wife of one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of the one attacking him, and puts out her hand and seizes him by the genitals, Then you shall cut off her hand; your eye shall not pity her. Ya got that, ladies? If a mugger attacks your husband and you try to help him fight off the attacker, you better not grab the bad guy by the gonads! Otherwise, we have to cut off your hand! You'd think believers would be embarrassed that bullshit like this takes up space in their "holy book".
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
