It must be daunting to join as a theist, I do respect those that have the balls. I've not even looked into joining a theist forum.
It takes very little courage to post online without revealing one's true identity. (And think of getting bonus points with one's god, so one will get a better seat in heaven!)
So, I have no special respect for those who sign up. If they want to do so, it is fine with me, but it is not a courageous thing to do.

It is surprising how many theists seem to believe that they have something new to say that atheists haven't heard a million times already. I assume the theists who come here must enjoy debating but it seems that after a short while some of them go off the deep end and start going out of their way to annoy the moderators.

If they are banned in a holy cause, they no longer feel obligated to continue. They have done "all they could," so they get the brownie points from god for "trying," and yet they don't have to try anymore. It is really an obvious strategy, and if their god were real, he would see through that and probably send them to hell for it.

It is worthwhile to say, that for a den of heathens, a newly joined theist is most likely to ignore the rules, troll/spam/flame, act like we are being petty for insisting that they follow our rules, and overall be disruptive.
Our most famous theists that last longer than a month or two usually do so with a trail of warnings and speedbumps.
Think fr0ds, Drich, He who shall not be named, Rev777, JesusLover. All the same.

Not a banning, but a locking (maybe we should start a seperate peanut gallery for that?). Something about the Ask a kiwi thread went over my head. But apparently it was bad.

Trying to figure out what happened, there. I think it was moderated by accident.

Not me this time. Honest, guv...
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Yeah, when I said the theists have balls to come here, I should have made clear I mean the ones who actually engage in honest discussion. It's not hard to sign up and write a load of garbage until you get banned, sure
