What I am saying is the 'Creator' Offered to Share a portion of himself with anyone who will simply A/S/K as outlined in Luke 11 which will be more than enough to provide any one of us with all the 'proof' we need.

Quote: Are you implying that he does not know we're not convinced of his existence?
No that is why Christ told us all we need to is to place a mustard seed's worth of faith in Him and He would have the Holy Spirit help us move mountains of doubt.

Quote:Or maybe he doesn't know how to make us believe and we need to pressure him into changing his "perfect" plan for us?
That's the thing He doesnot want to Makes us anything. He has given us this life apart from His known glory so we may separate ourselves, so that we may know which of us want to be with Him and will plant that mustard seed's worth of faith in His direction and which will not, so we may stand at our faianl judgement and know that what ever He judges will be just.

Quote:Sounds very disrespectful, if you ask me. Be careful, or god will smite you with ass-cancer, for portraying him in such unflattering light....

No. I'd much rather bother stupid people like you. God does not make dumb claims on this forum. You do. Have some shame and take responsibility for your own words, instead of shifting burden of proof on your imaginary friends...
sorry sport, the claim on the behalf of God I make are all written out in the bible, they do not belong to me. Just like a dawkins quote does not belong to you. If you want proof seek the author.

Sorry buddy, but the authors - as well as editors - are all dead. Somebody had to tell you (and there's no tooth fairy either, so don't tell me to ask her for evidence). Just because you hide behind a piece of bronze age fiction doesn't mean we're supposed to accept it as any sort of authority.

Let me spell it out for you:

F***

the

damn

bible.

Nobody is claiming you wrote the  bible, we are saying YOU have no evidence that the God of the bible exists. A history of making claims and writing them down does not make the claim true. If merely depicting a claim made something true then the polytheistic gods of Egyptian 3,000 year dynasty would make those gods real.

Humans have made god claims long before even the first written languages. You are not the only person who buys into a religion. There are countless religions even today and tons of variations off all sorts of holy books and religious traditions.
Christians are also not the only ones to use the tactics of either trying to debunk science, or when they cannot do that they try to co opt science, or they try to split the baby and treat them as "separate but equal". I have seen these tactics from Muslims, Jews, Hindues and other religions as well. Science does not prop up religion or god claims at all, not yours not any.
The only thing science can do in regards to religion, is explain in evolutionary psychological terms how our species flawed perceptions lead us to use bad logic to create groups based on false perceptions. The truth is that you merely like what you believe because that gap filling is merely YOU mentally justifying a comic book version of giving yourself a sense of self importance. It allows the follower to ignore their finite existence.
The dinosaurs didn't pray to gods, and you don't stupidly think cockroaches have a heaven or hell to fear.No religion existed 4 billion years ago, and there will be no religions or god claims at all after our species goes extinct. The universe was fine before humans concocted reflections of their own desires, and the universe will continue on fine without our human invented religions or god claims. No, it is not sexy, but it is reality.
It does not mean I don't have value for myself or other now, while I am alive. It simply means I don't create comic book stories to sugar coat reality. You really need to think about why you reject all other claims but your own to understand why atheists reject not only yours, but all god claims.

You seem to forget that most of us started out with at least a mustard seed's worth of faith, but the Holy Spirit still was a no show.

For example:  When humanity imagined that "demons" drove people crazy your lame-assed god ran around driving out demons.  Now that we know about mental illnesses you want to give your 'god' credit for developing Prozac.  Why couldn't 'god' create Prozac instead of running around like a fuckhead driving out demons?  Why is your god constrained by the technology of the society of the time?  Why is your god such an inept putz?

And then, why are you such an inept putz for not seeing through him?

just because we named the specific illiness that cause the loss or partial mental control does not mean Demonic forces are not still at work, again who's to say manipulating neuro transmitters or brain chemistry is not "the hammers striking the strings" mouse 3 saw?

Yes it does, dummy.  THERE ARE NO FUCKING DEMONS, you ass.

Drich is the ultimate argument against god. If the was one, he'd have better lawyers.

Why do you stop at only one god?
Why not believe in
The creator of your creator god.
The creator of the creator of your creator god.
The creator of the creator of the creator of your creator god.
...
I presume you'd say because you find insufficient evidence of these to believe in them.
And the argument now revolves around the sufficiency the evidence for your creator god.
You believe there is sufficient evidence which is somehow denied to the rest of us because He insists we do a little dance before it will be provided.
A dance that requires we abandon reliance on evidence to form beliefs.
Now any and all proposed beliefs are equally believable.
And we're back to step one.
Why do you stop at only one god?
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat? Huh

BINGO, there is no such thing as demons, just like there is no such thing as unicorns or vampires. And there there are no super hero cosmic security guards in battle with super villains. There are merely gullible, narcissistic, and insecure humans who invent those superstitions or swallow them for a false sense of comfort.

Because he only read one book and there was one god in that one. I blame the schools...
