Why do you think equal rights for gays are emblematic of a downturn in the quality of your country?

For me I think it all comes from faith reasons.  One thing I might say is that it is an unnatural act, since the human body doesn't naturally accommodate a penis being inserted in its anus.  I don't know whether or not I could say that it was immoral for that reason, but it would seem to be unnatural.

It's not equal rights that is the problem. We need to provide equal rights. It's the move away from christian morality.

Not only is it naturally occurring, but I think plenty of gay men- and straight men, actually- could tell you that the human body can and does accommodate that.

Moreover, don't you think it's unfair to have a negative opinion of lesbians based on a contention that only applies to gay men? And not even to gay men, in the end?

Your christian morality calls for you to kill homosexuals, not deny them marriage rights. That's the only thing the bible says on that issue. It doesn't say a word about gay marriage, so why are you picking and choosing, yet still holding up christian morality as necessarily superior? Obviously it's not, or you wouldn't have to cherry pick those parts of it that agree with the morality you already hold.
