Is it your opinion that reduced capacity will reduce gun violence?

The only thing that will reduce gun violence is banning the fucking things the way Australia did.

Perhaps gun violence will be reduced.  Though I don't think it will end violence in general, or reduce the overall occurrence of people killing each other.  We're quite good at it.

Again, as I've said many times, if someone really wants to kill someone else they are going to do it.

All I'm bitching about are the morons with guns who see them go off "by themselves" with a sickening regularity.  I'm amused when they kill themselves.  I'm less amused when they kill their neighbor's 4 year old in the next apartment.

I'd like to see someone "accidentally" do that with a knife or club.

Fair enough.

Knives don't necessarily "Go off".  And I agree that most "Accidents" as far as guns are concerned are complete bullshit.  However I at the same time believe those shouldn't be called accidents at all, just negligence.  

Where we seem to disagree is I don't believe ownership is the problem, the people are.
