I certainly would.

I spent a good portion of the last weekend sitting on my arse writing my great fantasy novel.

So far what I've written is basic, and full of grammatical errors.  But, I think, at this stage, the important thing is to get the story down and then I can edit it.

A writer's subgroup on here sounds like fun! Granted, my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt since I'm brand-spankin'-new on here.

I would love to sit down and write another novel. I've got several ideas outlined and copious notes. At this point, though, I think I want to work on screenplays; I'm working (incredibly slowly) on developing those outlines and notes into feature film scripts instead. I think that would be the better medium for them instead of books.

I'm trying to find the most humble way to say this, because I'm certain I'll sound cocky as hell, but... I'm a writer, by profession. Freelancer by day, with two published novels under my belt (so far). I've also had a handful of short stories, a book of poetry, and a stage play published (and have even been lucky enough to see the play performed). I've got a feature screenplay in development, but I feel like the producer is going to pull out and it's not going to go anywhere. Those are my passion projects. Work-wise, countless articles, white papers, eBooks, etc... not quite passion projects (especially when you're writing an article series on pubic acne or a white paper on tapeworms), but I love writing in any form so I am DEFINITELY not complaining that I pay my bills by putting words together. Smile
