Then, you say something even douchier than the last time, and I go right back to my original thinking. This one took the cake. I'm not sure I can stop thinking of you as a total asshole now.

I think if we educated people properly on guns like we used to there would be less issues with gun violence. Could you imagine a high school pistol shooting team? Or skeet team? Or marksmanship team? I'd love for my future children to enjoy the shooting sports. But for some reason this scares people.

You can't think of any reasons why the idea of guns in school scares people?

Of course it scares you. It can kill you. But like a car if you aren't nuyjob and treat with appropriate respect then you have nothing to fear. As for a high school shooting team, I like the idea, and I like the idea of gun safety classes in school. That doesn't mean you have to avoid good precautions. If it was up to me the guns would be stored with the local range in a time release safe.
