Don't get me wrong - I used to say the same thing, back when I gave a sh*t about what people think of me and when I thought I was fooling anyone.
Men are incredibly easy to excite - a rudely shaped vegetable is often enough, let alone audio-visuals of people having sex.
Sure - we've been taught that such reactions to indirect sexual stimuli is shallow, immature and unbecoming of a gentleman, but just because we can supress those instincts - that doesn't mean we don't have them.
Sure - many people abstain from erotic entertainment, at least to a certain degree (since we apparently have to have a f***-scene in pretty much every movie directed at adults), but that's just adherence to cultural norms, which have been forced on us since childhood.
Men of what age? To paraphrase Zander, I'm sixteen, I look at linoleum and I think of sex.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Let me just start by saying that I in no way judge anyone viewing porn. Whatever you want to do/enjoy is none of my business, but I wanted to just give at least my personal perspective on porn and sex as a Christian. I didn't start this to admonish anyone.
I have 5 kids. Obviously I'm no stranger to sex. Sex is awesome. I'm also not a prude and not ashamed to talk about sex with my spouse, we have discussions quite regularly about it in fact. I think a lot of people feel Christians think sex is dirty, gross, something to be ashamed of, etc. Not at all. To me sex carries much more than satisfying physical desires or biological impulses. Sex is deep and emotional. Can it be purely physical? Absolutely. But I think there is an intense emotional aspect to it.
Someone brought up one night stands are cool, so long as there is enough alcohol to forget about it. That right there tells me there is an emotional component to it as well. Feeling a sense of guilt for wanting to only satisfy a baser urge. Sex as an experience can be enjoyed at incredible levels when you have a strong emotional relationship with your partner.
Porn to me is just not appealing. Watching other people do it does not get me in the mood. Sex is about being personal and intimate with one person and one person that you care deeply about. A person that knows the real you. That you can be who you are around, who lifts you up, cares for you, will do anything for you. I may be a hopeless romantic and extremely sappy, but sex is about love. Like I said I know it can be enjoyed from a physical aspect, but there is more to it than that, at least for me. So while porn can certainly provide a fulfillment for the base urges, I think it falls desperately short on the overall experience.
Everyone has their own opinions on it and I'm sure you all know me by now that I have no problem with that, but I wanted to start this thread and give my personal Christian perspective on the topic. Let me put my opinion in the most simplest, offensive and most judgemental way I can:
Sex with a spouse is fun and good. Porn is sin. And those who watch it are evil and perverted as goose shit.
Threesome-sex is evil. Foursome-sex is evil too and so on. And those who do it are more perverted than your average porn watcher and they should have their dick soldered off.
Any kind of sex outside your female spouse is perverted PERIODO and if you keep on practicing otherwise need to you be going to hell sooner than a Jew being shipped to the Auschwitz.

Lol, what a weird and random post....
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I managed an adult video store for six years. If you want to think I'm lying because I'm saying it does nothing for me, that's your business.
But believe me, when you see it 50 hours a week for six years, it rather loses its, uh, charms.
Agreed. Not all men like porn. Everyone is different.

I'm not talking about someone such as yourself, Kingpin. You know what kind of person I'm talking about, though. We all do. The loudmouth type incessantly carrying on about sexual sin as they wipe away their drool. Does anyone honestly believe they're NOT the biggest consumers of online porn?
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:

I read about the Poe's law thing, but I still don't fully understand what it means. So am I a Poe?
