Personal relationships with deities
RE: Personal relationships with deities
That makes no sense. I can and do have personal relationships with others that no one else observes, or could observe. A personal relationship with God would only require the observation of one person. God isn't a person, or strictly physical. Nor does it have to conform to any man made conseption. So yeah, you may find it difficult to observe something that you have absolutely no belief in, or want for.

When someone is set on something being a certain way they often cannot see any other way until it is made painfully obvious.

The defining difference being that you could prove your relationship with another individual human being, despite no one knowing of that relationship. You cannot do the same in regards to a relationship with god, for it is all in your head. Grow the fuck up and learn to logic.

It is illogcal to assume that a personal relationship with God has to meet any criteria of a non believer who wouldn't be able to discern it because of hardheartedness.
I'm a grown man. My logic works fine.

If you expect me to take you seriously with that emotional crap you just spewed, then you deserve what you get here.

Core emotion is proven to be both causal and effectual in consentrated thought. Internal emotional reaction to actions and things is way to discern positive or negative effects. To not be able to understand that an internal emotional response is significance to our existence and direction is...a shame, and most probably an internal deceit of self for some askew hateful, or greedy reason. Which are both emotions.

Your conscience is in place for a reason. Not just a reason, but the reason.

Emotion should never overrule logic or reason; when one allows emotion to rule, one believes in anything for the emotion it creates in one's self.

Santa Clause causes great emotion to build up in children, but it does not mean Santa Clause is real.

The first is a fair statement.

Don't feel the need to fit our criteria for belief.

But also, don't use it as a criteria to expect us to believe.

Personal experiences are just that: personal.  They won't convince anyone but yourself and those who have claimed to have similar experiences.

You can say you have a relationship with god but you can't ask me to give any fucks if you can't prove it.

Just because I believe in God doesn't mean I don't take in information. No information disproves God. If it did I would consider it.
