You have obviously missed the opening post, drfuzzy, where it states if you "cannot discuss the name Killingsworth without it's relation to a pronunciation like that of Christ you need to not post. You will be reported." You have entirely missed that in  your last posts drfuzzy! The name Killingsworth is significant nobility. I swear to you cylla means God or divinity. It's the only thing it could mean. Killings are a pretty bad thing after all, but when it comes out pronounced as it does, you'd think of the king Cassiel. And you'd think, if Killingsworth even remotely resembled nobility (which it does), there'd be a name meaning for it in some sense. Well cylla does that, but it just makes it more evidently that of a God name, for me at least. I get the picture, drfuzzy, you don't.

Now if you are not going to respond with some intellectual ideas about the name meaning being that of a God's, or whatever, you don't need to respond at all. I'm just warning you. Your behavior is winding you up with all of the rest of the waco's of this forum and that is usually with a high finger on the report button and on the ready at that.

I'm just going to critique this bit, simply because your reasoning shows a severe lack of scholarship in the area. The name Christ comes from the Roman name or title "Chrestus" which meant literally "the good [man]". There were thousands of people living in Roman Europe during the early Principate who either were called Chrestus or were given the title Chrestus. It was so common that it pretty much lost all meaning. This is one of the major pointers towards the mythical aspect of the Jesus story.

Thanks for the information, Constable Dorfl. There are a lot of Killingsworths, believe it or not, even though the name is so strong and high. That really got my attention earlier when I was considering why my parents are such significant people, because too many Killingsworths would mean too many God's. But that turned out not to be the case afterall! There's a bunch of Killingsworths! Almost too many! I was starting to wonder when I would ever see the end of that little joke, but what you said above kind of helps, so thanks!

Oh, and the proper pronunciation of Killingsworth is "kill-ings-worth" not "christ". Just like the proper pronunciation of the surname Bucket is not "booquay"
