Martha was the worst companion of the rebooted series. She started off OK in her very first episode and quickly degenerated into this soppy companion who would whine all the time about being in love with the doctor.
On the other hand I expected the worst from Donna Noble but she turned out to be fantastic.
My favourite companion though is still Ace. She attacked a Dalek with a baseball bat. I wanted my own backpack full of Nitro 9 when I was young. Although I also like Elizabeth Shaw but she got replaced by Jo Grant so the doctor could explain stuff as exposition.
When I heard they were brining Osgood back I was excited.
Alas, he was nowhere to be seen.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea.-LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
Actually, I've come to accept that there are two Osgoods.

So the guy that has a problem with sexism in the show demonstrates dissatisfaction with a character being portrayed by someone with four appendages rather than five.
Doctor Who’s Steven Moffat says Clara will ‘never return’ and Capaldi is ‘going nowhere’
Quote:At the Lucca Comic and Games festival, which took place in Italy at the weekend, Moffat was joined by fellow Doctor Who writer Jamie Mathieson at a screening of the Doctor Who Series 9 premiere The Magician’s Apprentice.
During the Q&A which followed, Moffat was asked about the fate of Clara. The writer said: ‘Clara is gone and will never return,’ according to Italian site Movie Player.
The Scotsman ominously added, ‘I can only say that what will happen will shock, surprise and terrify. Strictly in that order.’
Oh yeah, THANKS Steven I'm SURE it will still be a huge massive shocking surprise for everyone. You fucking idiot.

The intention was for the character to be the daughter of this Osgood:
The Harry Towb version from The Seeds Of Death is presumably unrelated.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
You guys seem not to have understood my Osgood reference. This episode was decent, but it was overly complicated. It relied on people having knowledge about the Zygons from the anniversary special; and eventually we see two Osgoods in the end which implies that the "surviving Osgood" recruited another Zygon to duplicate her. What we do know, though, from the 1975 serial is that Zygons revert to their natural form on death; so it had to have been the human Osgood that was murdered.
