Where did you get the 10 mile figure from? ETA: Nevermind.

Look, what he did was amazing, but it's not proof of miraculous stone lifting technology. Human ingenuity, a flatbed truck, and other common items are all that was needed.

Though this does bring up the issue that not only did the flood not do any good, but separating people didn't do any good either. Yahweh has such a great track record managing his flock, doesn't he?

lol... How many people do you think were on that ark?

the story of babble is in close proxcimity to the ark story in the book of genesis, but in reality the time between those two events was massive, maybe even a few dozen generations... That what it would take to populate a city from Noah's two sons, and their wives.

Just out of morbid curiosity, what approximate dates would you give for the Noah story and the Tower of Babel story?

Pulled it out of his ass like everything else.

Quote:Egypt’s pyramids were built by the biblical Joseph to store grain and were not, as archaeologists believe, tombs for pharaohs, Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson has said.

Is Carson actually that stupid or is he taking a bribe from Trump? He's doing his best to appear retarded.

In any case, my point was that the flood didn't seem to work to well at eradicating evil, if Yahweh thought them building the tower was such a bad idea, and confusing their language didn't seem to do any good either in the long run. You'd think an all knowing being would be able to fix the problem the first time.

Right? I mean, the most recent episode involved a ritual human sacrifice by the most brutal method publicly available at the time, and apparently that didn't even take. Now he supposedly has to come back again, and that whole ordeal will take thousands of years and involve sealing most of humanity into Hell with the demons or some shit like that, while a meager fraction of the human race gets to spend the rest of eternity groveling before Gaud...and you know what? That probably won't solve the problem of evil, either.

Maybe it's because Gaud is evil, and therefore everything he creates is evil and everything he does is evil.
It's time to kill God.  Thousands of them have already bit the dust.  Allah and God have got to go.

Smart idiot. With everything he says, one wonders how he's able to walk on two legs. But it's undisputed, he was a genius in his field. And it's impressive, he pulled himself out of the shit he was born in.

Doesn't change the fact that this man isn't fit to run for dog catcher, let alone president.

RE: The Tower of Babel
If the story of Babel is true, why didn't God sabotage man's efforts to create planes?

Another thing to consider: the only reason God would get angry at man for trying to "build a tower to reach Heaven", is if Heaven itself really were up in the sky. But we've been there. No Heaven. Christians say, "Heaven exists in another dimension" or "we can't see or feel it." If that is true, then why would God care that man were trying to build a tower up to the sky (where they thought Heaven was) in the first place? A realistic God would have laughed it off as folly.
