A school in Missouri?  Not even a good idea.  I'm in Missouri, I know . . . 

Instead of getting them to ban crosses, maybe find a way to start discussions on removing the ban on Satanic symbols.

Why? What purpose could it possibly serve except as a fleeting sense of satisfaction after a win over 'ZE ENEMY'? What would this little game of tit-for-tat achieve that a sustained, consternated effort to promote understanding between all peoples would not?

For someone who wears 'Logical Outlook' proudly on their Religious Views, it strikes me as a very emotional reaction to a situation. Not trying to be insulting, just asking you to think it through.

The cross did come into general usage later than modern jesus shits would have us believe.

Don't try to get it banned, that will cause to much personal turmoil for you. Especially in MO.

Just fuck with them. Find someone with a decent sewing machine that can embroider patterns. Or do it yourself with cheep t-shirts and a Sharpie. Then start wearing a different religious symbol to school every day. There is a whole shit load to choose from. I'd stay away from the Hindu/Janis ones that are swatstickers (swastika, just like the way a past room mate pronounced it). Knowing the mentality in MO they won't get it.
