I'm asking this question based on Boru's question on a different thread where he asks what would you do if restaurants become banned.
I honestly don't know what I'd personally do about that, probably moan and complain about it but would I quit my job to go down to London to personally protest to the government? Or maybe I would just think it's not worth my job and my time and maybe I can go to some illegal underground restaurants.
The government already has laws I don't agree with, for example illegal prostitute and illegal marijuana. Plus spending taxes on things I also don't agree with. But my life isn't that bad due to these things, at the moment it's not worth me making a fuss over.
Prostitution is only illegal because no one in power wants to be the guy to say they want prostitution legalized, its basically not punished by law enforcement in the slightest, at least where I live, there's a brothel in my town that's been open for about 15 years, everyone knows what it is and if the police don't know they must be the only ones who don't. I think it's basically the same for marijuana, no one involved in politics wants to be the guy who wants to legalize marijuana, except that is a law the police do tend to enforce.
So I suppose my questions relating to this would be what is the best thing to do if you think a law is stupid? How is the best way to express it? What laws do you think are stupid ( I think that topic might have been covered before in a thread though)?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
