Haha After Brendan said "but how can he live if there's no sound in space", I had to read from the beginning again to be sure which one the troll was.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

I know because I use to do the same thing he does in gaming, whenever I'm annoyed with newbs. He's definitely trolling if they're not both in on it.

I play DotA. Not the valve version, either. I'm one of the veterans that keep it real.
What I'm saying is I think Brendan is far smarter than he looks. He's the one trolling Robert, in fact. And he is doing it for a good reason - apparently it's working too.

A good way to distinguish between trolling and genuine stupidity is to look for deliberate attempts by the troll to reach a middle ground sometimes in order to keep the pretense up.
