The "God" World. [aka Weaveworld]

RE: The "God" World. [aka Weaveworld]
Did he say he was an atheist "for fear of god".
Does he not know what atheist means?

I see we've reached the final stage of apologetics grief, which is the grief you feel when your apologetics fail. You've reached that stage where all you have left to muster is to insult the atheists at how stupid they must be for not believing in god. We actually have another member that went through a severe bout of that stage but seems to have pulled though. Here's hoping for you.

Buddha comes to mind on this one

"Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind they can change our world."

You cannot expect "no God" in a world filled with Gods (man is created to be an exact likeness to God, hell, that's proof enough). I will not accept your faithless, childish ignorance. Not that your one of those atheists that doesn't understand (yet) that in an atheist society, all atheist are closet homosexuals, hiding from fear of the final, devastating exposure, but... I have something for you.

I grew up with the attitude, just like most people, that God is the fundamental part of your mindset. So I was an atheist for 25 years out of my fear of God, big deal? Anyway, I am familiar with you atheists, almost too much (is that scary?). I have always accepted God, you see, as "that part of yourself that hopes too much from reality". Well, I have finally got my prayers answered from God (figuratively, of course), and I now know a God that is so equally perfect that he'd never let me down. That's why I'm posting this you see, well, in part anyway.

What I want to know, is why you atheists believe the attitude of your faithlessness (sorry if I couldn't word it better). Let's hear it. You can't expect this kind of an attitude to go untamed (!-- right? edit:Apparently I meant my religious attitude, upon re-reading my post). I will continue to post threads targeting atheism and atheists, in general of course, in the same manner, until my beliefs are finally justified. And lord do I have a lot to tell you.... To keep it simple, though, please, just include a reason why you feel you are justified for holding the atheist stance. That's the least I'd ask for. So to speak anyway. You see, the atheist "attitude" is just one thing I get too much of (I mean, I understand it too well). But I've been a christian for only 5 years, so I am still not very far on in my life, and my faith. So atheism in general then, is really too much for me.

Please include what was asked for, and maybe we will still barely manage to believe your "atheism is a religion." [fyi i believe weaveworld was a book]

Since this was an open invitation to everyone here, I would like you to answer a question first before I answer yours, if that's okay with you:

Why does it bother you that there are some people in this world who don't believe in god?

Simple question that I hope you will answer.

He purports to think that non-belief in god is not a position that anyone can have. It is the ultimate example of projection "I think this thing, therefore so must every other person that has ever existed" it is just wrong. And also seems to be the position that Delicate has decided to take, just top annoy us I think, as after a moments thought anyone who has an ounce of intelligence can see how it fails.

Well, can you tell us who your father is?

I have proof that I am the son of God. You can disbelieve me if you want to. Go right ahead. Suit yourself. But I am the son of God.

My question remains, do you believe that your father (whatever his name may be) accepts you just the way you are, the way he made you?

Lol, wow! What an utter waste of their time. Jebus must be so proud of them. Doing the good work of the lord and all. Is that one of the commandments? Thou shalt troll atheist websites to sling juvenile insults at strangers! JK, what do you do for work? Are you acting like a 10 year old on company time?
