OP is specifying first world nation.
such a shitty thing to not be in a first world nation. One becomes outta luck, outta pussy, outta money, outta chances to make a real life out of his own misery.

i was discussing this very thing with a friend recently when we were talking about ISIS, and all the pain they've caused in the middle east. and how just by sheer luck, we were born in the US, during a time where there's no war here, etc. Geography is just luck.

If I thought about the world all the time I would get depressed.
I think about it sometimes, but not too much.
I focus on my friends, and ideally I try to focus on one wonderful person at a time
I love giving full attention to someone awesome, but when I do the very opposite and think of the world as a whole, I feel fucking shitty.

Well women have better orgasms but men never have to fake them.
I'm being an idealist; hopefully, someday, everyone, without exception, will be in a "first world" nation. And, now, I'm being an optimist. But, you're point is taken; outside of the First World (as well as in the First World) women are oppressed, but in the First World at least, they are more able to have their own economic independence, with some exceptions, of course.
Yeah, in most of the world it's so clearly better to be a man. In every country south of the US it's obviously better. In just about every Asian country it's obviously better. It most of the middle east it's super obviously better. In Sweden, I don't know. Men in the first world live shorter lives, are more likely to be the victims of violence and murder. There is also plenty of sexism in the first world. I'm looking at you France, Italy, Spain, Australia. In the US (and even more Canada) men are probably nicer to women then anywhere else, but I'd say there is hardly sexual equality. I hear probably 100 times more sexism in my daily life then racism. If you look at corporate world, the glass ceiling is obviously real.

(The second is optional, of course, but if it's going to happen it's always the women doing it.) I certainly don't envy those things. Except for the added vulnerability of being hit in the sack, it seems men don't have something to endure to even this out.
On the other hand, women are beautiful and graceful, and men look fucking ridiculous. Especially when it comes to the genitals. Also, I suspect women can enjoy sex to a more powerful extreme than men, and can have multiple orgasms. Blokes just get the one, unless you believe those lying erotic stories.
I half agree. I'd love to have the natural strength of a man. We women do get short changed there. But with modern medicine pregnancy and giving birth, not to mention breastfeeding are joys I would not give up. But I had easy pregnancies and if labor and delivery or producing milk were competitive sports I would have been a contender.
There other things I love about being female: multiple orgasms; being the sex people want to see naked, and especially longer life span. Also I have more life choices. I get to choose first to have a career, then to stay at home, then to go back. House husbands have a hard time of it.
That said, this is the only time in history that I'd prefer to be a woman. Go back even to 1950 and I'd rather be a man. And even now only because I was born in the West.

I agree, it is really scary to me how little you have to delve into history to see sexism and racism running totally rampant. What people who are born today see as normal and "obvious" ways to treat people equally is really only a very recent development. If instead they were indoctrinated since birth that women are inferior, then on the whole, I think people would still believe it.
I would also like the physical strength of a man

You boys have no idea. In my early 40s, I spent my time shoveling, hauling gravel and manure, and doing homework construction projects. My lightly built husband sat at the office. I still needed to wait on projects for him to lift something for me.
