Jesus definitely existed. I know that a lot of people try to dismiss his existence entirely because the accounts we base his existence on are second-hand and/or written many years after he died, but people have to understand that by classical historical standards that's pretty good evidence.

Considering Carrier's less than savory reputation among biblical historians, I'll pass. No proper scholarly journal is even willing to review that book.

Except we can be quite sure the miracle working biblical Jesus is fiction. Radical religious preacher...maybe,but probably not. More likely an amalgamation of many such preachers of that time.
