Antitheism

His way of disagreeing with me is simply disingenuous. He contradicted his own post in the last paragraph. Enough said.

Is Huggy aware that you stole his playbook?

When you get shit for presumably using definitions that suit your point, you might ask for definitions as well.

RE: Antitheism
This one works for most people:
"deism

noun
1.
belief in the existence of a God on the evidence of reason and nature only, with rejection of supernatural revelation (distinguished from theism).
2.
belief in a God who created the world but has since remained indifferent to it."

Yeah... I normally use dictionaries for definitions. It's the sensible way.

Turtle can do sensible. Sometimes. K almost never but that's still technically "sometimes".

I'd wager that the Abrahamic god is also unprovable and unfalsifiable. At least, that's how his followers behave.

Also, some forms of deism subscribe to the belief that the Universe itself is god. That idea has meaning too, even if it is unknowable or unfalsifiable.

Or, you could reply to the contents of the posts that you quote rather than creating much ado about nothing in slicing out the tiniest snippets for no reason other than avoiding to respond....while simultaneously seeming to respond.

Disingenuous? Glass houses EP, glass houses.

Deists don't use theists criteria for a god, so the fact that they do not meet the criteria of a theists god doesn't lead to them meaning nothing, they just don't mean the same thing..and whatever that other thing is, how it's described to you by the deist in question -not how it's defined by me- is what god means, to them. Your bias for theistic gods and god meanings leads you to conclude that a deistic god doesn't mean anything, when really it's just failed the theistic criteria you've applied, as would be expected of a deistic god.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

yeah, I guess I could be a, or join a, anti-over-sized-religion. So long as we are not attacking the normal's that are just trying to get through this shit sandwich we call life. Maybe not antitheist but anti theism. Like communism. I am not anti communist regular people until such time as we have to go to war. But as of now religion is the least dangerous thing in my area.

I am anti pushing-a-belief on others. like pushing anti-religious people does. I do know we are part of a larger system and that system probably is alive. Thats a basic base point. Omni-dude aint real but so is nothing.

Yeah, no shit....right?

You think that theism added meaning to god, and it did...to theistic gods.  Theism, however, has nothing to do with the meaning of god to a deist or a deistic god.  It's completely irrelevant.

YES.

Now I'm mad at myself for not saying that.
