Scot is my favorite thus far. Seems smart, and obviously strong, and easy to like. Peter and Tai seem interesting as well. Tai isn't as nice and noble as he seems, though. JHMO

I thought for sure that the blonde girl was going to get the boot - making the second switcheroo of the episode after the Beauty tribe managing to win the challenge.  With as much as they were showing us of Tai hunting for the idol I thought for sure they were over playing their hand and he was going to be the first boot.

Debbie on the Brains tribe started out seeming like she might be a player, but by the end of the episode she was coming off as egotistical and just plain full of herself - "I don't need to use the saw, I'll chop the bamboo with the hatchet!"  Sure, honey.  Sure you will.  

The whole earwig thing freaked me out.  Things crawling into my ears is one of my biggest fears and to see it played out for real, with footage of a little worm actually crawling around an earlobe?  EEEEEEEEWWW!!!!!  And everyone was just staring at it!  "Look, I see it!"  Fucking grab it and get it out of her ear then!!  I would have at least proposed to her that they flush her ear out with water to try and get whatever's in there out.  In any case, it is now firmly decided that for as much as I enjoy this show, I will never ever ever ever ever play it.

People I like so far:
Brawn Tribe: Andre the Giant and Gauges Guy (don't remember their names)
Beauty Tribe: Tai seems like he'll be an interesting character to keep around for a while
Brains: ... No one. Well, maybe the FBI guy, but it seemed like the younguns were out for him and Debbie...

So, I was off getting dinner and missed at least half of the show. I think it was a mistake to vote off Darnell. Actually, I like the older FBI guy. From the little I have seen. I think he will go farther than they are priming us for.

They should all be accessible for a while. I know last season I enjoyed rewatching them, just to be more sure of what happened.

ETA: like Nick being annoyingly full of himself as he introduced himself, but otherwise being unnoticeable.

Kyle is Gauges Guy - he seems like he'll be a fun player to keep around for a while, but I think he'll be his own worst enemy.

^ this is the guy I was referring to. Looks like that guy to our left of the black guy. The baller is Scot Pollard, ex-NBA player. I like him as he is on the show (though apparently he had a few personality quirks during his career).
