How can anyone live forever when it is an absolute certainty that one day every last star including the red dwarfs will die.
Then our whole universe will be well and truly dead.
What makes you think anything can last forever?
Entropy and the arrow of time will ensure that nothing will.
All other notions are just flights of fancy.

I know! lol.
To compensate for this harsh reality, I make it up to the kiddies by telling them that they've got absolutely nothing to worry about as earth would have completely perished trillions of years before the death of our universe ... But I have noticed that they cry themselves to sleep alot? Is it something I said?

Forever is a loooooooooooooong time. What happens when the sun burns out? What happens when the universe itself ends? Even as a god, how could one entertain themselves forever? I say, unequivocally no?

LMFAO. Why aren't you writing children's books?! This is clearly your niche! [emoji106]
Eh, if they cry about that, just remind them they'll be dead long before the earth perishes. And since there is no afterlife, they'll be nothing more than disintegrated worm meat at the time, and therefore shall not have to bare witness!

From time to time, I'd make myself forget temporarily that I've ever watched The Wire or West Wing or Sherlock the first seasons, and watch them anew.

I do that all the time, especially with movies, but still, forever is a loooooooooooooong time and once one has done everything, what would be the point of repeating the same thing over and over and over ... forever.

Seriously, if that is possible for any of you: I'd like to know the real reasons why you would NOT... which I'll assume most of you will answer.
And "IF" you do what to live forever. Why you would?
Thanks ahead of time for your coherent, civil replies.
I would prefer to live forever. Why, you ask? I dunno, why do you?
