You libs want to be lied to. You enjoy turning off your brain just to feel good being lied to.

Goodness isn't prideful. It doesn't march out its good deeds when it suits it.
Goodness simply is, regardless of whos watching.

I'm a primate. My point was to point out that while he is a liar and a weak president, the people who voted for him did so under the apprehension that he might prevent further atrocities (which he didn't) whereas those who vote on the right are knowingly choosing from candidates who vocally condone the use of torture and the indiscriminate bombing of civilians. One side is disappointed when their country commits atrocities, the other is seemingly elated.

Unless you are good 100% of the time, you are a bad person.
Nonsense. This is exactly the sort of simplistic thinking Trump appeals to, with an absent middle-ground and a base unable to think in terms of nuance.
Goodness, and evil, lies on a continuum. If you're not able to think with such distinction, that says more about you than anyone else.

No but I may be willing to learn if you are willing to teach. Wanna ride the Hershey highway big boy?
Wait, you've got a highway back there? That explains the traffic cop, then.

I don't doubt that Mr. Trump helped this woman, and that it was, in and of itself, a good act. But sporadic acts of goodness do not a good person make. Trump remains a petulant, spoiled child whose response to any uncomfortable or complicated situation seems to be limited to a combination of evasion and bullying. In short, he is a terrible, horrible, very bad person.

This seems to me to be so typical of American politics and everything that's wrong with it. It's tribal. I've heard it said before that in America you don't support either Republican or Democrat, you are a Republican or Democrat.
If you don't make your vote part of your identity then you will be free to make a choice.
