I was abused as a kid both by my biological father and my adoptive father. Hitting a kid to get them to behave is rule out of fear, and while it may work with some, when my parents did that to me it made me more destructive and insecure. I still suffer today from trust issues as a result of that abuse. What you think a kid can handle does not make you a clinical psychologist. 

Kids are not property they are human beings, individuals and while parents are there to discipline them, they are not property. But this is what I come to expect from you, the same immoral authoritarian "obey me or I will beat the shit out of you" rule by fear God you worship.

FUCK YOU, I know what authoritarian parents were like and I suffered from it. Drich if you really love authoritarianism move to North Korea or Saudi Arabia. But when it comes to children you don't ever use blanket solutions because children are individuals.

I was taking care of my nephew one of these days and he was misbehaving because I wasn't goint to fire up super mario galaxy for him. He throwed a tantrum, and I sitted him next to me and I found the most boring tv show that I could find and he had to sit there watching. Worked wonders and he now talks about dead nature paintings alot. Ahah. I am just that evil

Please, this is nothing, I did all my school years in a very reputed Catholic school. Aside from the torturous prayer session and the crazy nuns that manage to shit out "Jesus" in every single fucking sentence one way or the other, what really, I mean really drove me insane was the constant beatings we got with canes.
I'm not kidding, imagine getting your ass handed to you with a fucking stick and then being forced to kneel down on the school grounds in front of everyone under the scorching sun... because that was exactly what was done to me and many more "mischievous" boys,thank god I wasn't forced to suck a dick or something, that'd have left me traumatized for life.
The point is I hate that school with a passion. It's been almost 3years since I graduated from there and even now whenever the thought of that school crosses my mind, my blood boils at 200 centigrade.
It's also worth to mention, the beatings didn't make me a good little sheep as they'd have expected, it in turn made me further rebellious,a word of caution to anyone employing physical discipline - boys usually revolt even more and the girls grow up to be adults that are so introverted and scared to even talk aloud with 0 self confidence.

I guess the only two options for dealing with an unruly 5 year old (cause 5 year olds are always perfectly behaved) is beat him with a cricket bat or call the cops.

All true, but in this instance I'm really not sure if he's not trying to troll us. I mean, this is disproportionate, even for him. My opinion of Drippy can't get any worse as it is, but this looks like a conscious effort to alienate people even more.
