Also, I'm really glad we have a highly-intelligent and thoughtful man in the White House. The joy of it has been seeing the reactions, as all of the USA's collective monkeys came out of their hidey-holes (inside the "brains" of over half of congress, and most of the US South and Midwest) and started flinging rhetorical poo, these past eight years.

Even seen from an outside perspective, it was a welcome change. Sure to change with the upcoming election, regardless if it falls to Republicans or Democrats. The only question remaining is the level of mental depravity on the horizon.

Yeah, of the 4 contenders: Trump, Clinton, Cruz, Sanders, I wouldn't really describe any of them as highly intellectual.

I like Bernie for his values, Clinton for her vagina, and hate the other two because they're deranged lunatics.  But none of them will really dampen the panties of an intellectual like Obama could.

The only reason I am so loud is because Trump is so loud, get angry at the right loud people. 

I am jealous of Canada and Australia and most of Europe, although parts of Europe are starting to act like our right wing nutjobs.

As LL said, we like Canadian tourists in NZ as well. They may not spend as much as USians, but they're quieter and ever so much more polite. I once saw a middle-aged Canadian (we had just been talking to her in my wife's shop is how we knew) lady bang her car into a plastic dustbin (no damage) and shout, 'Sorry!' She apologized. To a dustbin. I absofuckinglutely LOVE that.
