Hey,

I am writing this to put forward my reasons for believe in God. I'll start off with more philosophical arguements and move on from there. It will be interesting to see your answers.

Reason 1: The Kalam Cosmological Arguement

Im taking this from William Lane Craig.

1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause of its existance.
2. The universe began to exist
3. Therefore the universe has a cause of its existance.
4. This cause is God (Not necessarly the Christian God)

This presupposes the anthro-centric notion that our understanding of (cause/effect) reality is complete, sans limitation. I believe it was Hume who challenged this a priori assumption.

Sir or madam, I believe our friend solarwave is long gone. In case you're unaware, you've necro-posted in a thread that's nearly seven years old. Seven years! 
That's the same amount of time Brad Pitt was in Tibet!

Hate to break it to you, but your "God" is simply a copy and paste of other cultures "Gods". Look it up. You would be surprised to find how many other cultures had similar ideas. The whole idea of God was to control others. Maybe Jesus himself was a good man, but his followers were a little bit crazy.
