For that, just make garlic pasta. You can buy it or make your own. Just rub the meat and veggies with that and you should be ok with it after 9 months of marinade.

I marinade.   If I'm going to marinade for hours I just cush the garlic.  For a quick marinade I press.  You can hold the garlic press vertially or horizontally,  but horizontally is less messy. 

Alternatively you can  rub crushed garlic into the meat.  Wait, you're vegetarian?  Vegis I just brush with garlic infused oil
