It's a well known fact that Donohue gives Fuckabee a run for his money in the nuttery department. So why the outrage over something entirely expected?

You realize that an organization is a structure of hierarchies, right?

By your logic, mobs that riot are organized, right? After all, they're meeting in public.

Add it to the long list of things that the Hugster doesn't understand.

Ok we'll use your logic.

Our full-time executive director is supported by a team of volunteers, as well as a few agencies helping to produce and promote the event. How do you always manage to end up backing the losing side?

No, you're not using any logic. What you're using is a logical fallacy called the fallacy of composition: what is true of a part is not necessarily true of the whole.

Don't let that stop you on your desperate scrabbling to always be right, though. Rolleyes

Actually you'll find your "fallacy of composition" in the title of this thread.

Let me spell it out for you.

Thump clearly defined an organization as having a hierarchy.

Thump clearly compared the reason rally to a rioting mob, suggesting that neither have an hierarchy and cannot be called an organization.

The reason rally is clearly an organization.

Ergo Thump is clearly wrong.

You could be excommunicated for saying that.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I may defend your right to free speech, but i won't help you pass out flyers.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

I'm pretty sure if the Pope decided to excommunicate all atheists we pretty much wouldn't care.
Because in reality that's the fancy way of saying talk to the hand.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.
