Game of Thrones Season 6 Discussion [SPOILERS WITHIN]
RE: Game of Thrones Season 6 Discussion [SPOILERS WITHIN]
Only thing I'm disappointed in is Arya. Did she REALLY think it was gonna be that easy? You just hand the first Westerosi ship captain you find a couple bags of gold and then bum around Braavos until cast-off time?
The contrast in her behaviour from the end of the last episode was striking. If she got complacent that quickly, then my sympathy for her current plight is tempered.

Yeah, there's a lot of theories that that wasn't "real" Arya, and was actually Jaqen testing the Waif (he told the Waif not to let her suffer, etc), especially considering that "Arya" wasn't carrying Needle for some reason, when she was inseparable from it previously.

But even if it really was Arya, I think she can be forgiven for taking literally 5 seconds to look at the ocean, the Faceless Men are just plain good at finding you.

Seems appropriate given the title that the show featured not only the Hound's return but more of the groom from the red wedding, Jaime, Theon and at least a reference to Loras. All broken men in their own right. Is the idea of a broken man important to the story somehow? I suppose the night king can be seen as a broken man as can the dude substituting for Cold Hands and the Mountain. I don't know.

What to make of Arya's apparent death? I don't think it makes sense to leave it at that. As has been said the lack of caution here doesn't seem consistent for her. Hard to see how it could be any kind of ruse.

Oh yeah, did anyone else expect the Hound to chop the priest down and have him reanimate? Is that what he'll do with the axe he grabbed?

The Hound is going to get medieval on the BwB's asses.

I can see them doing the BwB one of two ways. 1) The Hound finds them, Beric Dondarion has died for the last time so they are without a leader, and that's why they've become shitty brigands without a moral code. The Hound kills them all (maybe except for Thoros, because he always seemed pretty nice), and that wraps up the BwB part of the story.

2) LSH has taken over the BwB, which would explain both the death of Beric Dondarion and the BwB's new brutal tactics. I just don't see how they would wrap that story up after introducing a brand new character (LSH) and re-introducing up to a much-loved one.

Holy Shit the hound is still fucking alive. Imagine if the begging of this ep was a post credit scene in the last ep. Now he's gonna go all bankai on those motherfuckers that killed innocent people for no reason.

Majority of this episode is spent on showing us how John and his sister is raising an army to take back their home. I just loved the hard ass kid, now that's a queen.

I knew missqweenie was working an angle by pretending to believe in the cult's ways. I wonder what the flower means.

Jamie is trying to take over a castle. Kay

Oh and Aryia gets stabbed. You'd think by now she'd lean not to trust anyone. Oh and that who "Aryia Can Never Die thing" yeah HBO killed more people than G.R.R. Martian, so if they want Aryia dead, they'll do it. Also why was no one in the street helping her? They all just watched her like "Oh that's shocking I guess" Seriously People COME ON!!!

The Rose is the symbol of House Tyrell.  It was Margerey letting her grandmother know that she is still a Tyrell, that she is still her old self.  That also lets the grandmother know that Margerey's request for her to leave KL is important, to protect her from the High Sparrow.

I am reading a theory about Arya and the Waif right now.

The theory from a fan states that Arya and the Waif are the same person, a Fight Club scenario.

After all, it would explain why the Waif attacked Arya and no one would come to blind Arya's help.

Yeah, I read that. That theory implies Arya is now a stone cold Faceless Man, which I don't like.

The theory I prefer is that it is actually the Waif who has failed, and Jaqen is sending her as part of Arya's final test. The Waif has clearly had a personal vendetta against Arya, something a true FM wouldn't have.

But in the end I doubt either of these are actually true, Arya will somehow kill the Waif and escape Braavos and sail to Westeros.
