Yeah. You said you can't get shot by a safely stored gun.. I was pointing out that, in a desperate time of need, it's difficult to get hold of a safely stored gun in order to shoot it. So pretty useless then. See?

Yeah, and you can get shot by a gun that isn't stored. Worse that useless, dangerous to the persons who are most often in proximity to the gun. Who would fit that description?

Bingo. Having guns readily available is a recipe for domestic injury and/or death. Our guns are locked up or locked when we're not at the range. But you come into my house with evil intent and I'll cut you all day and into the night.
