In case people haven't seen it yet. Nigel Farage admits that the Leave campaign's pledge that £350 million a week will go to the NHS is not guaranteed and it was a "mistake" to make that promise. I have to wonder how many people were persuaded to vote leave because they thought the NHS would be injected with a solid supply of funding.

These are the actual grounds, included in the Directive, for the ban ....
"Therefore, it is necessary to approximate the national provisions on advertising and sponsorship of those
products having cross-border effects, taking as a base a high level of protection of human health. Electronic
cigarettes can develop into a gateway to nicotine addiction and ultimately traditional tobacco consumption, as they mimic and normalize the action of smoking. For this reason, it is appropriate to adopt a restrictive approach to advertising electronic cigarettes and refill containers."
Even those that were originally hostile such as Ash and many national health services, including the NHS have since refuted this and given substantial evidence that it is rare for none smokers to take up vaping ....
At the time the EU made the claim to warrant the exception to Art,10 there wasn't any figures, so even if later figures had have supported the EU, which they don't, they still breached Art.10 as the grounds were not "Established" when they made the directive ...
No, what are the established legal grounds for banning an advertisement or for restricting free speech?

Depends on the person but if you think there are no people who hate immigrants and/or voted based on racism, you're wrong. Hang out on social media and you'll find there are tons of people who will gladly tell you they voted because they hate those filthy immigrants and they want to keep Britain British and other things that jerkoffs love to say. Maybe they're the minority but they definitely exist.
I never said they didn't exist, but a few users on this forum seem to jump straight to the race card when people advocate stricter border control. It's annoying.
They're a minority.

To me it's like a all pets are animals but not all animals are pets thing: All racists I know voted Leave, but not all who voted Leave are racists.

I'd have to interview every single voter to be sure. I'll tell you from personal experience, 98% of Americans against immigration reform/for stricter border control that I have met are absolute racists.

Well, yes. I have to admit that my sympathy for people believing even a single word coming from a populist's mouth is very limited. It may even be more limited since they're ruining it for all the people by setting off the equivalent of a nuclear device for the global market.
So, tough luck and have fun with your splendid isolation. The bankers already pack up and leave. It won't be too long until other businesses are following suit. As opposed to actual humans there are no immigration cap for companies anywhere in this world.

There is just so much evidence, and I can't be arsed searching for ASH the UK's biggest anti smoking group .... but look at the the included article where it states Ashes findings among others .... Remember the Gateway argument was the only argument made by the EU in 2014 ...
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/articl...years.html
And also note my argument is not about vaping, but the EU basing Directives that breach ECHR law based on opinions and not "Established" facts ...
