UK to leave EU

Shows how much you understand about UK elections. UKIP got 12.7% of the vote in the last general election, more than the SNP, the Lib Dems, and the Greens. Just because they only won 1 seat doesn't mean they don't have support.

Farage was central to the Leave campaign.

They're certainly not a minority, there are many racists.

There is a reasonably large minority of non-racists who voted Leave, sure. But there's plenty of fucking racists who voted Leave because there's a lot of racists.

They're a minority.

I'd have to interview every single voter to be sure. I'll tell you from personal experience, 98% of Americans against immigration reform/for stricter border control that I have met are absolute racists.

That hasn't exactly been lost on the brits all these years I;ve been on the boards.  They seem to be suffering, now, from the delusion that their population is significantly different in that regard.  Well, tough tits, time to pay the piper for all the shit that's been slung, lol. At least we have the decency to call a klansman a klansman.

Exactly the same experience here with me in the UK.

Well, yes. I have to admit that my sympathy for people believing even a single word coming from a populist's mouth is very limited. It may even be more limited since they're ruining it for all the people by setting off the equivalent of a nuclear device for the global market.

So, tough luck and have fun with your splendid isolation. The bankers already pack up and leave. It won't be too long until other businesses are following suit. As opposed to actual humans there are no immigration cap for companies anywhere in this world.
Talk to me about it in two years time, looking forward to you choking on your words. and by the way not all people who live in rural communities are thick.

Even those that were originally hostile such as Ash and many national health services, including the NHS have since refuted this and given substantial evidence that it is rare for none smokers to take up vaping ....

At the time the EU made the claim to warrant the exception to Art,10 there wasn't any figures, so even if later figures had have supported the EU, which they don't, they still breached Art.10 as the grounds were not "Established" when they made the directive ...

No, what are the established legal grounds for banning an advertisement or for restricting free speech?

Art.10 ECHR has a few exceptions , but emphasizes that they must be "Established" among other things ... I could and have, if you read back give case-law that would explain that ..... there are border line situations .... but making law based on pure opinion, (what you think may happen}, is not "Established" .....

Not everyone voting for these shitstains is a racist. It's mostly people being afraid for their livelihood and not being used to ask actual questions. If some pied piper comes up with simplistic solutions and promises some cookie on the side, they greet them like the second coming.

It's obvious that they don't scratch the surface of any of these lowlifes and populist parties, since there's nothing underneath the shiny coat. No plans for the economy, no employment plans, only the appeal to primiotive instincts, fears and exclusivness.

She seemed genuinely pissed off, not just trying to look convincingly annoyed, she seemed genuinely pissed off to me: why do I get the feeling she voted Leave purely on that false promise of funding for the NHS?

They're not worth your time. Nothing you say here will change their minds. You, Nap and I will be laughing at them all in a couple of years time. Smile
