And you have to remember that some of us have been owners and shooters since 1965.

Thank you for your reply.  To prevent miscommunication, I'd like to make sure we have the same meaning for shell game.  I see it as meaning the use of a distractive tactic to confuse a person.  The idea being that I was trying to distract the reader from something.  Do I have that right?

If we agree on the meaning of shell game, could you please described which part/s seems to be an attempt to confuse the argument?  Thank you again for your reply, and I look forward to more.

Shell game: Guess which shell the pea is under while I shuffle them madly about. Remember that the pea might not be under any shell, but you'll lose your money anyway.

Obviously doesn't make you any more knowledgeable than the gun nuts, though, does it?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Got it. So what part/s of my post appears to mimic this tactic? Thanks

Um, why not? Are you saying every gun nut has fifty years of experience in the subject?

Gawd,

To ask a little more clearly, what part/s of my post do you believe to be inaccurate. Do you think I misplaced facts in an attempt to confuse? If so, where? Thanks

You fit the classic shell gamer profile, intentionally or not. On the bet that you are a shell gamer I won't bother with you any more. If you're not I hope you live long and prosper.

I'm sorry to hear that Gawd, and I mean no offense. You said I am using trickery, and I don't think I am. I certainly don't mean to. If you change your mind and decide to discuss this, I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great weekend!
