Billionaires bet in the international gambling halls against the rest of us. So, though luck, if they lose.

I think the only thing that I enjoyed was the right to live and work in Europe. Mind you, when I went to Germany 13 years ago, I still had to queue up with all the other non-EU immigrants for an "Arbeitserlaubnis", and had to register myself. I still remember that there was a sign on the door in the Council offices saying (in German) "Either speak German or bring an interpreter". Could have used more of that in the UK.
I don't care for all the other single currency, economical / trade stuff. (June 27, 2016 at 5:17 pm)dom.donald Wrote: I don't care for all the other single currency, economical / trade stuff. Based on that statement I can only repeat what I already said. You obviously don't have anything to lose. Or order too many pints at the pub, for that matter. Otherwise you would - or at least should - care for all the other single currency, economical / trade stuff. RE: UK to leave EU

It was schadenfreude because the biggest funder of the Leave campaign donated £3m and as a result of the Brexit has lost £410m. Or as Dean Burnett said when he retweeted this: Quote:Once again... - Molecule - Atom - Neutron - Proton - Electron - Quark - Gluon - Violin played in response to this (June 27, 2016 at 5:35 pm)Napoléon Wrote:(June 27, 2016 at 5:31 pm)Mathilda Wrote: I wasn't trying to garner sympathy. Are the retirement fund losses suffered by ordinary working people also poetic? |
