People think that Trump is politically incorrect...
Quote: He said he would issue shoot-to-kill orders to the security services and offer them bounties for the bodies of drug dealers. He also urged ordinary Filipinos to kill suspected criminals.
During the campaign, Duterte said 100,000 people would die in his crackdown, with so many dead bodies dumped in Manila Bay that fish there would grow fat from feeding on them.
Rodrigo Duterte Wrote:"Fuck you UN, you can't even solve the Middle East carnage... couldn't even lift a finger in Africa (with the) butchering (of) the black people. Shut up all of you.
That's a true dignitary and diplomat right there.
I'm sorry but the UN is complete joke now for putting Saudi Arabia on it's human rights panel. He called us atheists terrorists
when the same country that violates and even supplies terrorists calling atheists evil.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

If you're white and well off that's probably true.
A lot of people aren't, though.

Based on what data exactly?
I also assume there's not only one brand of Philippino, but several different ones. Same as with every other country of the world and it's citizens.

I can't imagine what could possibly go wrong with this.

I guess it really depends on what you are basing it off of. What standard do would you use to judge how well off someone is? I'd have to know that before even being able to answer the question. Many third world countries actually report a higher level of happiness. If you are going standard of living though, Filipinos in the US by a wide wide margin. The Philippians has one of the highest rates of emigration in the world and the US has one of the highest rights of immigration in the world. It tells you something. Most third world countries have poverty that people in the first world can't even imagine in terms of scale and level of poverty. Poverty in the US isn't even remotely the same thing as poverty in the Philippians.
P.S. Filipino with a F when talking about the people there and Philippians with a ph when talking about the country. Don't ask me why, it doesn't make any sense to me either.

I would base it on how well someone fits into their particular society. How well they are adapted and connected. That doesn't even mean being well off, just well enough to live a decent life.
Yes, there are many Philippinos living and working abroad. In many countries for that matter. We would run short of nurses and orderlies if they were to leave, but it's not as if everyone of them is bound to leave their islands anytime soon because they lost all hope.

Then you are asking me for hard data on something for which no hard data can be provided. I mean how am I supposed to come up with any sort of data on how well someone fits into a particular society? You know you do that rather a lot. As for being well off enough to live a decent life, your average Filipino American exceeds the median standard of living in the US. From wikipedia:
Quote: On average, Filipino Americans earn a higher average household income than the national average, and achieve a higher level of education than the national average.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographi...le_Manilas
So there you go. Though I think claims should be backed up with evidence, I'm pretty amazed that people would think that your average Filipino in the Philippians could possibly be better of then in the USA or other first world countries. Have you ever been to the third world for anything other then a first world style vacation?

No, I'm not asking you for hard data. I'm only asking you to not go out on a limb to make a point.

You literally asked me Quote: Based on what data exactly?
Now I've given you what data there is, which clearly shows I was right. At least about economic matters. There is no data that can be given about how well people fit into particular societies. Although I can tell you there are Filipino neighborhoods and little manilas all over the west coast. So while no data can be given on that, I assume that they fit in just fine.
