I would not believe that it was a miracle. If I was presented with enough evidence I may accept that a very unusual biological event had taken place. And you know what? If I couldn't explain how it happened, I would give the correct answer which is "I don't know." If you don't know how something happened, that doesn't mean it's magic, it means you don't know... Yet. Then you can find out.
If we just said "it's magic" every time something happened that we didn't currently have an explanation for we really would still be living in the dark ages.
So, really you are saying miracles cannot happen. I thought that was your main objection to the NT. Therefore I was right, you claim God does not exist because there is no evidence, miracles would be the most obvious evidence, miracles don't count because they cannot happen, your are arguing in circles. The rest of your list is simply cover because its really not plausible that that many people were mistaken or lying.
No, miracles don't count because only an idiot would believe in magic on here say.

No matter how many people saw "a miracle", it's more plausible they are mistaken.
They may even fairly accurately relay the series of events, but no one has the authority to conclude "so it was a miracle". Argument from ignorance every time.

I can't demonstrate it, sorry, that's not how it works. You just have to believe, you have to have faith. I'm not trying to preach, just telling it like it is. There's no evidence involved, it's simply something you have to feel in a sense.
Wow! The troll has jumped the fence!

So a person isn't allowed to change his mind without being called a troll, is that it? You're only allowed to be an atheist? It's impossible to change your mind about that?
I'm sorry for you, I really am. Being an atheist is an emotionless existence, only satisfying on an intellectual level. And that's just not what I want out of life. Believing in something greater than yourself, is simply so much more beautiful and reassuring. I'm willing to do it.

Thank you so much, Evie. I really appreciate it.
On an unrelated note, I started having a funny pain in my back some minutes ago. I wonder why, lol.

It's because you're not praying hard enough. Don't worry that will stop once you pray hard enough.
And remember, if your back doesn't stop hurting even after praying super hard for ages, it's because you're still not praying hard enough. O.K.?
Good. Then we agree.

I have to say I'm surprised that all of your apologetics are based on such a naïve foundation, that you were willing to believe that the laws of physics can and have been broken by a man with magical powers, just because it says so in an old book?! Because you think they wouldn't lie?!
I just kinda feel bad for you now. This isn't meant to be an attack on you personally, I'm not saying you are an idiot, I'm sure you're a perfectly nice guy and you have clearly studied this topic. But this is a public forum and for sake of the discussion, the thinking you are employing on this is deeply flawed to the point of true gullibility. This is exactly the point atheists have been making for decades - you are believing this stuff on horribly weak evidence, and it's only because of the weight of cultural conditioning and peer pressure, and shortcomings in human reasoning and critical thinking, that anyone can believe this.
You are cheating yourself out of the chance to live in the real world with this nonsense. I'm genuinely interested to see if it's possible to reach you Steve. Because you're part of humanity, and you deserve better than this lie you've been sold. Our beliefs affect our actions and our actions have consequences, and the more we believe true things and disbelieve false things, the better. Do yourself a favour, use your brain!

Haha, nice try, but I'm not that simple, nor is my belief. I don't expect to get a response when praying, or even for God to intervene in my life and change something, earlier joke aside. I pray because it makes me feel good to think that there's someone out there listening to my private thoughts and that he cares. Especially in this age, some people need that, you know? Don't hate me for it...
