And, besides, if we're talking about naming babies after military figures whose first names are almost never used, why not try Hiram? It was the original first name of Ulysses S. Grant (at least until someone on the way to West Point fucked up his name), and it's also Hank Williams' real name. That said, this may be one of those cases where, in everyday life, you go by the middle name.
