Live stream of Dem Convention.
RE: Live stream of Dem Convention.
My redneck friend from Oklahoma back in 08 made a good point. It took less than a month to bail out the banks/housing/and car industries, but over a year to get the ACA. Why? Because of the GOP and the insurance CEO's and GOP fighting to water it down as much as possible. The banks/housing/cars were bailed out quickly because the deed was done and not bailing them out would be worse. Both are a result of corporate blackmail.

It will depend on how she does; she may turn out to be a very good President who deserves a second term. If not, I'm curious, would you support a Republican candidate, or are you thinking about a potential challenger for the Democratic nomination (which would be almost unprecedented).

I can't imagine the RNC coming up with a serious candidate anytime soon.  But the Dems have Elizabeth Warren in the wings and I'm willing to wager she'd be better that Hillary.

He's 74 actually. He might challenge Clinton, but Warren probably won't.

I really don't know why they didn't go after Gary Johnson he was a Republican a few years ago
if they got him they could technically get people on his side from Trump. But oh well were going
to get 4 years of Trump anyways.

Skip third party, the entire GOP party is stuck in a mythological past where one religion and one skin tone were the cure all, where anyone else who didn't fit that were pets or house guests at best. Trump and the GOP does not value E-Pluribus Unum, they value a black and white Mayberry which is ironic because that show had the most liberal cast of actors in reality.

I don't give a shit about Garry, and India has far more political parties than we do but still have far worse poverty. The solution isn't third party, the solution is anti monopoly.

And who says we will get 4 year of Trump? No, and bullshit, it isn't November by any stretch.

I guess that's the outcome of courting the religious vote...you end up completely divorced from reality.

I was a bit annoyed at the DNC convention sucking up to a sky wizard, but again, just like the GOP is apt at controlling the cold war narrative, we cave and paner to prove we love mythology as much as they do. But to be fair, outside label most of the world is superstitious. But at least there is always a more empathetic left.

Yeah, I didn't didn't watch the DNC because blech. Sky wizards. Listened to more than enough of that shit in my compulsory religious education. And because I already decided I was gonna vote for the democrat 12 years ago, because the GOP is blech^10.
