Apparently, she had never seen or been to a roast before. I doubt she knew how brutal it would become.
She only showed up to pimp her new book, anyway, and I guess she got booed during her segment.
Poor Ann. It couldn't have happened to a nicer person.
ETA: Oh, and about her not crying. I assume that she is incapable crying, because that would require her to have feelings.
