These of course are all failed attempts.

What on earth are you talking abut Rik...-you're- the one who just told us that no one has presented the evidence.  I'm agreeing with you...suddenly, you seem to be disagreeing with yourself?

Quote:Nobody so far has ever come up with solid evidence that a brain devoid of oxygen and blood can generate clear and sharp experiences as the NDEs.
-exactly..........I'm assuming "nobody" includes yourself......?

You are the one who asked me......why I keep on droning on about something that -no one-....has produced evidence for..........right?
My answer to your question was very very simple.
I said ........because people in here keep on popping up with guessing that suppose to contradict me.
If people would not try to contradict me I would not come back with the same answer.

But I guess you didn't get it Rit, did you?  Wink

RE: Karma poll
karma?

Yeah, there is "karma", but we can use what we know to describe it without using this mystical magic or "force".

we have personality types, sight, sounds, and smells that affect us.  Can magnetic fields line up when they are near each other? Can chemicals get absorbed through the skin and cause some physical changes?  Can a set of events determine a groups of people choices and mental states?

some atheist deny it.  they deny anything.  religious atheist "deny anything" sect.  Some are even worse and don't want to talk about it because the truth may go against the anti religious revenge rants.   These are deceitful atheists.

Oh, I think we all know who doesn't "get it," Little Rik.  Your obsession with using your unproven imaginary friend as an explanation is utterly unconvincing.  Perhaps, mortal, your god should come talk to Me face-to-face instead because all you have is an argument from incredulity.

The only way to believe anything that LR says is to completely forget how things really work. Once that is achieved, you can follow him through la-la land. Consciousness not being produced by the brain, evolution being a choice, water and mass are separate things, and vibrating cheese are a few of the "truths" you will be privy to in his warped reality.

Well, of course cheese vibrates!  It's made of molecules.  It just doesn't vibrate in a way appreciably different from other solids.   Tongue

And you can bet your bottom dollar that if I had had a choice in My own evolution, I would have manipulated the genes to make the pinky fingers of both hands ¼" longer to make it easier to play clarinet and sax.  Don't even get Me started on the myriad improvements I would have made to the legs...

Hmm...longer pinky fingers would help me with both guitar and piano as well. You have work to do, otherwise I won't be able to master Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2!

Oh, what the fuck, I'm bored anyhow.

So, the reason you won't provide us with evidence is because...other people are contradicting you with things you don't think are supported by evidence?  No one has the obligation of proving your assertions wrong buddy.  You make the claims, YOU provide the evidence.  It's so simple!   Rolleyes

I made the claim?  Huh

Did I?  Panic

Actually I did click in favor of the karma but at the same time many other people click to reject
the karma and also other people click to say that they are not interested in the argument.

Folks, did you realized that this is a poll?  Smile

Karma, schmarma. I didn't respond to the poll primarily because the options are limited and poorly worded (except for option #3, which doesn't apply).\

Construct a better poll and you'll get better responses.

What a shame Astreja!  Tut Tut

First you try to knock down the karma without success.
After that you come up with the story that you as a medical professional with a particular interest in neurology...............are strongly of the belief that there is almost certainly a physiological explanation for NDEs........

When even this story hold and does not save you from defeat and not having anything else to put forwards that make any sense you try to shake off the defeat by saying that it is me that doesn't get it.

Just incredible Astreja.  Shake Fist

Why God should do that?
If you are not interested in him why should he show up to you?
Would you approach someone knowing that that person doesn't like you?

You never thought about that Astreja, did you?  Begging
