I just finished watching To Sir, With Love (1967) with Sidney Poitier. This is a pretty good movie, especially for anyone who likes movies about teaching.

"Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel" (2009) and it is a fun movie that touches on themes that people ponder like "Would you kill George Lucas before he ruined SW?" I just can't believe I found about this movie only now. Maybe it's because people like to endlessly talk about Dan Brown movies "You know they're so bad. But the last one wasn't so bad" Are you kidding me? the last one was the worst" "But at least it had donkeys and they were fun, you got to grant it that." "Well yeah"
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
