What about just wildly slamming the person you're talking to with having the least noble intentions imaginable. Is that sort of thing okay here? Are you at least going to provide an argument for your slander? No, don't bother. Fuck you asshole.

To my fellow Americans - who did you vote for?
|
Personally, I couldn't in good conscience vote for either Trump or Hillary. I voted for Gary Johnson. I don't feel I wasted my vote at all but I voiced my opinion that neither of the primary party candidates were viable options to represent my voice. With that said, the rest of America has spoken and Mr. Trump will be President. He now has an obligation to represent all Americans and if he fails the people we may see another changing of the guard in 4 years.
Honestly this morning one of my first thoughts was what if after he is sworn in he resigns and Mike Pence takes over (who most agree is much more "presidential"). Or maybe even Pence bows out which will make Paul Ryan POTUS. Regardless, the coming years will be very interesting and perhaps the start of the downfall of the establishment political elitist system. I won't be moving to Canada and those that choose to should stay there.

If you live in one of the battleground states and voted for Johnson, congrats on fucking things up.

There was a guarantee Johnson wouldn't win, obviously. Look at the battleground states. Trump JUST BARELY won most of them. If you took Johnson off the ballot it's very possible Clinton would have won . Or Trump wouldve won by a larger margin. This isn't new. 3rd party candidates have fucked up elections in the past. But the difference now is DONALD FUCKING TRUMP IS PRESIDENT RE: To my fellow Americans - who did you vote for?

But you're assuming that most Gary Johnson/Jill Stein voters would've automatically voted for Hillary. The fact that it was this close at all is a far bigger problem.

-Exactly-
Fun fact, you know who had the best claim on the issue of marijuana legalization after Gary (let's not kid ourselves, gary voters were voting for weed... ).... Trump. He's long been tired of seeing us outsource our lucrative illicit drug market to countries like mexico, and thinks that the only way to win the drug war is to legalize it.....all of it.

People keep blaming 3rd party voters. The hubris of saying We're going to nominate Hillary even though we know you don't want to vote for her, and then we're going to point the finger at you for not voting for her, even though we knew you said you weren't going to vote for her.
Pick a better candidate. Electability matters. |
